AWM is an acronym for Angry White Male. It refers to European American men concerned with (real or percieved) favoritism towards non-Caucasians and women in government, business, media, education, and other institutions. It is considered by many to be an ethnic/gender slur, and is most often applied by multiculturalists and leftists.
