Aaron Karo is a New York City-based stand-up comedian and author of Ruminations on College Life (BooksEnthsiast.com) and the e-mail based column "Ruminations". This column started in 1997 when Karo was a freshman in the University of Pennsylvania. It was distributed by word of mouth and forwarding to friends, until a mailing list was created later that year.
