Anthony Collett ( August 22, 1877- 1929) was an author and writer on natural history subjects and was The Times' nature correspondent during the 1910s and 1920s.He was born at Cromhall , Gloucestershire, educated at Bradfield School and Oriel College, Oxford.
In 1917, he was described as "of 5 Stone Buildings, Lincoln's Inn, London, W.C.", which strongly suggests that he was a lawyer, or at any rate involved in the legal profession in some capacity.
W. H. AudenCarl Van Vechten, 1939 Wystan Hugh Auden ( February 21, 1907 September 29, 1973) was an English poet. He was born in York and spent his early childhood in Harborne, Birmingham, where his father Dr George Auden was school medical officer for Birmingham and used many phrases from Collett's Changing Face of England in his poems.
