bmibaby is a no-frills airline owned by bmi British Midland.It was formed in January 2002 and operates with ex-bmi Boeing 737 aircraft from its base at Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
It flies to destinations throughout Europe from its main bases throughout the United Kingdom ( Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham East Midlands, Teesside and London Gatwick). Callsign 'baby' with many of its aircraft being named with the word baby embedded. Rock a bye baby and baby blue skies frequently visit Manchester.
bmibaby claims to differentiate itself from other low cost airlines with an enhanced website giving passengers the chance to change their booking online, view any up and coming or previous bookings and also by giving the passenger the chance to allocate their seats before checking in.
