Billy Crystal (born March 14, 1947) is an American actor, writer, producer, and film director. He was born in Long Beach, New York.Crystal played "Jodie Dallas" on the popular 1970s television sitcom, Soap.
He was scheduled to appear on the Saturday Night Live first episode (October 11, 1975), but Lorne Michael expulsed him.
