Blind Guardian is a heavy metal and power metal band started in the mid- 1980s in Krefeld, Germany.Before calling themselves Blind Guardian they released a demo under the name Lucifer's Heritage in 1986. The four members of this band are deemed " bards" by their fans. The members are Hansi Kürsch - lead singer and bass, André Olbrich and Marcus Siepen - guitars, and Thomen Stauch - drums.
