Brendan O'Brien is a record producer who worked with many bands including Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, King's X, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Aerosmith, Matthew Sweet, Limp Bizkit, Lifehouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, The Black Crowes, Aimee Mann, and SoundgardenSoundgarden were instrumental in creating the sound that came to be called grunge.
