In the post-war era one such party was for a time led by the Duke of Bedford. Made up of mostly former members of the British Union of Fascists its membership also briefly included Colin Jordan.

Another British Peoples Party was launched in 1979 but changed its name to avoid any association to previous groups bearing the name and emerged as the British Democratic Party.
