CKX is a television station in Brandon, Manitoba affiliated with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Owned by Craig Media Inc., it is the first privately-owned television station in Manitoba.

The station was founded by John Craig and went on the air on January 28, 1955, a day which marked Craig Media's start in television broadcasting.

As a CBC affiliate, the station airs the minimum requirement of CBC programming but also airs a significant amount of A-Channel programming.

For nearly half a century, the station remained under the ownership of the family-owned Craig Media. On April 12, 2004, CHUM Limited announced a deal, subject to CRTC approval, to purchase Craig Media's television broadcasting assets, including CKX, for $265 million.

Craig Media was planning on getting a license for a new television station in Brandon, which would make CKX a full repeater of Winnipeg's CBWTCBWT is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television station in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is the only network CBC station in Manitoba, although Brandon's CKX is a CBC affiliate. Broadcasting for the first time on May 31, 1954, CBWT began as a bilingual sta, but it is unknown whether any further developments will be made, especially because of the station's sale to CHUM. The station may be rebranded as a NewNetNewNet is a network of six local television stations owned by CHUM. Many of the stations are former CBC affiliates. The stations in NewNet broadcast to smaller television markets that are close to larger ones (which are instead part of the Citytv brand) a station once the sale is complete, but as it is currently a CBC affiliate rather than an independent station, this is not certain.
