CSI: NY (working title CSI: New York) is a 2004 American police procedural television series which premiered on September 22. It is a spinoff from , first introduced during an episode of the latter when Horatio Caine journeyed to New York City in pursuit of a murder suspect who fled Miami. It is much bloodier than the Miami version, and is filmed in a hard blue light.1 Cast
- Gary Sinise - Mack Taylor , often called just Mac, whose wife died in the terrorist attacks on the United States of America on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. He often does not sleep well, but is a believer in evidence.
- Vanessa Ferlito - Aiden Burn who has the ability to adapt to new situations very quickly.
- Carmine Giovinazzo - Danny Messer comes from a long line of law enforcement personnel.
- Hill Harper - Sheldon Hawkes lost two patients and walked away from being a surgeon.
- Melina Kanakaredes - Stella Bonasera who is absolutely devoted to her job.
- Eddie Cahill - Don Flack a witty homicide detective who has very little patience with suspects.
In the reccurring rule of Leonard Giles , a doctor who is a double amputee, is J. Grant Albrecht .
