C#Builder, from Borland Software, is a computer program that allows programmers to create Microsoft Windows and Web applications for the Microsoft .NET Framework using the C# programming language.
A Rapid Application Development IDE, it uses the Microsoft provided Microsoft .NET Framework .
A viable alternative to Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET 2003, it provides a way into .NET
programming for Borland based shops.
It is unable to use the Compact Framework due to a combination of technical and licensing
issues.
It has been a commercial failure , being hampered by tradionally poor Borland marketing
and poor pricing. ( It is significantly more expensive than other, more capable, alternatives )
