Castle Sunset is a 3 story Queen Anne style house with an irregular roof line and diamond glazing on the 2nd floor windows. The grounds are on top of a slope and command a nice view of the Connecticut River Valley and are surrounded by an iron fence. A carriage house accompanies the building.

Castle Sunset was originally owned by Alvah N. Belding.
Castle Sunset was originally a private dwelling. The third floor was used as a ballroom and is still in its original state with huge chandeliers and paintings on the ceiling.
Castle Sunset, the grounds, and the carriage house are currently used by the Congregation B'nai Israel as a Synagogue and Jewish School. The carriage house is used as a recreation hall by the congregation.
