The Cathedral of Saint Paul and Peter is a neo-Gothic church built in Vysehrad fortress in Prague. Originally built in the nineteenth century, the church suffered a fire in the early twentieth century and has been rebuilt. Behind the church is located Vysehrad cemetery, home of many famous Czechs, including author Karel Capek. The cathedral features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin spires can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague. Cathedrals
