Czarnków is a town in Poland. It was in Greater Poland (Wielkopolska Province) before 1999 in Czarnkow-Trzcianka County. It has 13,000 inhabitants. Previously it was in Pila Voivodship (1975-1998). From 1772 to 1919 in German borders, known as Czarnikau.

Czarnkow it is one of most beautiful towns in the region. The town is crossed by the Notec river; around the town are hills. Therefore it is called Szwajcaria Czarnkowska.
