Dade County is a county located in the U.S. State of Missouri. As of 2000, the population is 7,923. Its county seat is Greenfield 6.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,311 km˛ (506 mi˛). 1,270 km˛ (490 mi˛) of it is land and 41 km˛ (16 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 3.15% water.
As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 7,923 people, 3,202 households, and 2,276 families residing in the county. The population density is 6/km˛ (16/mi˛). There are 3,758 housing units at an average density of 3/km˛ (8/mi˛). The racial makeup of the county is 97.45% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 0.71% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.19% from other races, and 1.20% from two or more races. 0.85% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
