The French Community of Belgium has its own parliament and government.
The Communauté Wallonie-Bruxelles seems to be a name given to some common institutions of the Walloon Region and the French Community of Belgium. However, this name is wholly unofficial, not foreseen by the constitution and hotly contested by the Flemings as it creates confusion about the differences between regional and community institutions (likewise there is no mention at all of "Flanders" as a region and community in the Belgian constitution - something which also creates confusion about the differences between regional and community institutions). The name indeed refers to two regions, where the Brussels Region still remains a fully autonomous regional institution.
