Noteworthy demos by the Future Crew include Unreal (released at Assembly 1992), Panic! (released at The Party 1992) and Second Reality (released at Assembly 1993). Many consider Second Reality to be the best PC demo ever made. It contained groundbreaking effects, perfect scripting and stunning music by both Purple Motion and Skaven which were synchronized to the effects.
Tributes to Future Crew include a 3D graphics benchmark called Final Reality by Remedy Entertainment (shown at Assembly 1997), and a remake version of Second Reality for the Commodore 64 by Smash Designs called Second Reality 64 (released at The Party 1997).
Future Crew was also responsible for the popular MOD editor ScreamTracker, which was fashioned after the Amiga SoundTracker , as well as the Advanced DigiPlayer sound editor. Since development on ScreamTracker ceased, Jeffrey Lim created Impulse TrackerImpulse Tracker is a multi-track digital sound sequencer which proliferated on the DOS platform. It was authored by Jeffrey Lim and discontinued after version 2. It was available as freeware, though the author supplied extra features (like saving stereo W which is very similar to ScreamTracker, yet with many more features.
Companies like Futuremark ( 3DMark3DMark is a synthetic benchmark by Futuremark (formerly MadOnion) to determine the DirectX performance of graphics cards. The measurement unit 3DMark is intended to give a normalized mean for comparing different visual processing units, which makes this b), Remedy ( Max PayneMax Payne is a third-person shooter computer game developed by Finnish company Remedy Entertainment, produced by 3D Realms and published by Rockstar Games in July, 2001. A sequel to the highly popular shooter quickly followed entitled Max Payne 2: The Fal) and Bitboys (a graphics hardware company) were all started in whole or in part by members of Future Crew.
