GG Allin (born 29 August 1956, died 28 June 1993) was born Jesus Christ Allin, and was nicknamed GG when his brother could not pronounce his name. His mother renamed him Kevin Michael Allin shortly before he began school. He was a punk rock singer and bandleader.Allin fronted many bands throughout his career; including The Jabbers , The Scumfucs, Bulge, The Cedar Street Sluts, Antiseen, and The Murder Junkies . He has a large discography, which is largely out of print and sometimes commands high prices from collectors.
He would often perform naked and regular stage antics included attacking audience and band members, defecating, urinating, throwing feces at his audience, and self mutilation. He is said to have fellated his brother on-stage. He was arrested many times throughout his 15 year career for his wild stage antics, and some have regarded these acts as performance art. Performances were often stopped by police after only a few songs.
Allin's notoriety led to appearances on episodes of Geraldo and The Jerry Springer Show.
It is rumoured that he once raped a female audience member and has bragged of taking a woman hostage with a knife live onstage. He promised throughout his career that he would commit suicide onstage on HalloweenHalloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31, usually by children dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting candy. It is celebrated in much of the Western world, though most commonly in the United States, Ireland and Canada. by blowing himself up by a stick of dynimite stuck between his buttocks.
