GJ 436 b is a planet discovered orbiting the star in 2004. It has a similar mass to Neptune, but orbits very close to the star and is believed to be a terrestrial planet, not a gas giant. Its surface temperatures would be very high. It is one of the smallest extrasolar planets ever discovered.
