Goldfinger's debut album of the same name was a hit on college radio when it was released in February of 1996. The sound of the album went well with the third wave of skaThe third wave of ska music ska punk skacore arose in the 1990s in the United States. Bands like Sublime 40 Oz. to Freedom and No Doubt Tragic Kingdom drew off the influences of English two-tone ska revivalists from the early eighties, especially The Spec which was popular at the time. "Here in your Bedroom" was the big single from this album, enjoying a lot of radio time. Other notable songs are "Mabel" and "Miles Away". The general theme of the album is very upbeat, great for having fun or playing at a party.
