Greg Lake (born November 10, 1948) is a British guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Lake was a founding member of the original incarnation of the British group King Crimson, and was a member of the supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer. He also toured briefly with the group Asia in 1985.

As a solo artist, Lake became well known for his Christmas hit, "I Believe in Father Christmas", which used music by Sergei Prokofiev as a backing track.
