The HK P11 is a special-purpose Heckler und Koch pistol designed to be used underwater. Underwater, ordinary-shaped bullets are inaccurate and very short-range. As a result, this pistol fires a steel bolt about 4 inches long. It is longer range and has more penetrating power than spearguns. It has five barrels, and each is loaded with a cartridge. After firing all five cartridges, the pistol must be sent back to its manufacturer for reloading. It has been seen in action in movies.See KHPRO for pictures and more information.
Securityarms's site says that the P11's projectiles are miniature solid-fuel rockets and not merely solid inert metal.
