Hall County is a county located in the U.S. State of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 3,782. Its county seat is Memphis 6. Hall County is named for Warren D. C. Hall, a secretary of war for the Republic of Texas.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 2,342 km˛ (904 mi˛). 2,339 km˛ (903 mi˛) of it is land and 3 km˛ (1 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.11% water.

In the county, the population is spread out with 27.20% under the age of 18, 6.80% from 18 to 24, 22.10% from 25 to 44, 22.40% from 45 to 64, and 21.50% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 91.70 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 86.50 males.
