2 Demographics
As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 3,139 people, 1,115 households, and 848 families residing in the county. The population density is 3/km˛ (7/mi˛). There are 1,218 housing units at an average density of 1/km˛ (3/mi˛). The racial makeup of the county is 99.52% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.03% from other races, and 0.19% from two or more races. 0.10% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
