1 Geography

Hawaiian Acres is located at 19°32'56" North, 155°3'21" West (19.548868, -155.055861) 1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 49.8 km˛ (19.2 mi˛). 49.8 km˛ (19.2 mi˛) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

2 Demographics

As of the census 2 of 2000, there are 1,776 people, 698 households, and 423 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 35.7/km˛ (92.3/mi˛). There are 843 housing units at an average density of 16.9/km˛ (43.8/mi˛). The racial makeup of the CDP is 51.01% White, 1.41% African American, 0.62% Native American, 9.85% Asian, 8.67% Pacific Islander, 1.35% from other races, and 27.08% from two or more races. 9.85% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 698 households out of which 33.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.7% are married couplesMarriage is a relationship that plays a key role in the definition of many families.
