Middle-earth Valar

Irmo is a fictional character from J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium.

Irmo is the true name of the Vala who is usally named Lórien, which is rightly the place of his dwelling. He is the husband of Estë and the brother of Námo ( Mandos) and Nienna.

Irmo and Námo are the Fëanturi , masters of spirits. Irmo the younger is the master of visions and dreams. His gardens in the land of the Valar at Lórien, where he dwells with Estë the gentle, healer of hurts and weariness, are the fairest place the world and are filled with many spirits. All those who dwell in Valinor find rest and refreshment at the fountain of Irmo and Estë.

When the Sun and Moon where originally set in there paths " Varda purposed that the two vessels should jounrney in Ilmen and ever be aloft". It was largely due to the prayers of Irmo and Estë, "who said that sleep and rest had been banished from the Earth", that Varda changed her council and allowed a time of night.

After the birth of Fëanor, Míriel his mother, wife of FinwëFinw is a fictional character in the fantasy universe of J. He was the first High King of the Noldor (as such he is sometimes surnamed oldaran who led his Elven people on the journey from Middle-earth to Valinor in the blessed realm of Aman. He was a grea, languished and ManwëMiddle-earth Valar A fictional character from J. Tolkien's universe, Middle-earth, Manwe Sulimo (from the Valarin Manawenuz is the King of the Valar, husband of Varda Elentari, brother of the Dark Lord Melkor (Morgoth), and King of Arda. He lives atop Mou delivered her to the care of Irmo.

Irmo means Desirer or Master of Desire, he is also given the title Master of Dreams.
