Michael Whale (born 13 May 1951) better known as James Whale is a British radio and television broadcaster. He has presented a regular phone-in show on British Radio station talkSPORT from Monday to Thursday since 1995. He is short-tempered at times and cuts off many callers whom he finds annoying. Whale is dyslexic and makes no secret of this.In 2000, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He survived, but claims it has affected his outlook on life.
He has been married to Melinda Whale since 1970, and has 2 children, James and Peter.
