The Karadordevic Serbian ruling dynasty is descended from Karadorde. They had a long feud with the Obrenovic dynasty. The dynasty lost the throne in November 1945 when Yugoslavia became a republic. The ruling members were:
- Aleksandar of Serbia (reigned 1842- 1858),
- Petar I of Serbia (reigned 1903- 1918),
- Aleksandar of Yugoslavia (reigned 1921- 1934),

- Petar IIPeter II ( 6 September 1923 3 November 1970) was the last King of Yugoslavia. He was the son of Alexander of Yugoslavia and Princess Mary of Romania. Peter II Petar II , of the Karadjordjevic dynasty, succeeded in 1934 after the assassination while on a s of Yugoslavia, the last king, reigning from March 27March 27 is the 86th day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar (87th in Leap years). Between Aleksandar and Petar I there were Miloš Obrenovic ( 1858- 1860) the founder of the Obrenovic dynasty, Mihailo Obrenovic ( 1862- 1868), Milan Obrenovic (grand duke 1868- 1882 and king 1882- 1889), and Aleksandar Obrenovic ( 1889- 1903), following his assassination Petar Karadordevic was crowned king.
Karadordevics are politically active in Serbia, supporting the view that it should become a kingdom again.
