Khandi Alexander (born September 4, 1957) is an American dancer as well as a film and television actress.

Born in New York and educated at Queensborough Community College , she appeared on Broadway and was Whitney Houston's choreographer from 1989 to 1992. Alexander has concentrated on film and TV since then, playing Catherine Duke on NewsRadio, and Jackie Robbins on ER.

She is currently starring as the coroner on , Alexx Woods.
