Martyn John Evans (born 27 November 1953), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives from March 1994 to October 2004, representing the Division of Bonython, South Australia. He was born in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and was educated at Adelaide University. He was a State Government Administrative Officer before entering politics. He was a member of the Elizabeth City Council 1975- 84 and was Mayor 1981- 84.

Evans was a member of the South Australian House of Assembly 1984- 94.
