the prayer that you say in the morning can be said until midday. Rabbi Yehuda says that you can say it until four hours (an hour in the Mishnah or Gemara is of the day) into the day. You can say the afternoon prayer until the evening. Rabbi Yehuda says that you can say it until plag hamincha (10 3/4 hours into the day). The prayer that you say at night has no set time; it can be said all night. The additional prayer that is said on Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh (the first day of a Jewish month), Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shmini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, Pesach, and Shavuot can be said all day. Rabbi Yehudah says that you can say it until 7 hours into the day.
How can the mishnah say you can say the morning prayer until midday/4 hours. There is a baraita which says something else: The mitzva of Shema is to say it right before sunrise, so that you can say the blessing of "Ga'al Yisrael" (the blessing after Shema and before Shemoneh Esrei) RIGHT next to Shemoneh Esrei and say Shemoneh Esrei right at the beginning of the day
I will work on this later.
