Metal Gear: Ghost Babel is a stealth-based game that was developed and published by Konami for the Game Boy Color. It was released in Japan in April 2000; the North American release followed in May.

Although Ghost Babel is visually similar to the first Metal Gear, it adapts a number of gameplay elements introduced in the PlayStation MGS. The game's story contradicts the MGS story in some places, possibly limiting Ghost Babel to the status of a gaiden (a non- canonical side mission).
