Method Man (born Clifford Smith April 2, 1971 in Hempsted, Long Island, a.k.a Meth, Johnny Blaze, Methical, MZA (The Mizza), Shakwon, Ticallion Stallion) is an East Coast rapper and member of the Wu-Tang Clan, also known for acting and frequent collaborations with Redman (not a Wu-Tang member).As one of the first to join the Wu-Tang Clan after its formation in the early 1990s, Method Man has always been one of the most visible members of the collective. He was the first to release a solo album under the Clan's unusual contract, which allows its members to release albums under any record label. Method Man's solo debut, Tical ( 1994, 1994 in music) was critically acclaimed and extremely popular, entering the American charts at #4. He soon collaborated with Mary J. Blige and Redman with a series of hit singles, then recorded the second Wu-Tang album, Wu-Tang Forever . His second solo album was ( 1998, 1998 in music), which sold even better than his first, though reviews were mixed. Method Man spent some time on his acting career, appearing in Belly , then toured with Jay-ZJay-Z (aka the Jigga HO and Hova born Shawn Carter December 4, 1969) is an American rapper, originally from the Marcy Projects in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised by a single mother and, as a young man, began hustling on the streets of New York. He brief and recorded Blackout! with Redman. Method Man has also appeared in OzOz was the first one-hour dramatic television series to be produced by HBO. The show, which aired for six seasons ( 1997- 2003), is set in a maximum-security prison in an unspecified eastern state in America. In 2004, he released his third album, Tical 0: The Prequel , which spawned a successful single in What's Happenin with Busta RhymesTrevor Smith Jr. born May 20, 1972), better known as Busta Rhymes is an American hip hop musician. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Uniondale, New York. At 12 his family moved to Long Island where he met up with other MCs from the growing, but was poorly received both by critics and fans. He also co-starred with Redman in his own Fox sitcom called Method & RedMethod & Red (sometimes written Method and Red was a television program that first aired on Fox in June 2004. It starred Method Man and Redman, along with Beth Littleford and David Henrie, and was seen as a sort of watered-down successor to The Fresh Prin, however after only a short time on the air the show was put on hiatus and is unlikely to return.
