NNN can stand for New Nordic Norm, a type of binding for cross-country (nordic) skis. This binding improves upon the traditional three pin binding. The NNN binding is more rigid against twisting and lateral movement of the boot with respect to the ski while being more flexible regards to up and down heel movement.
