The Nauru detention centre is an asylum seeker detention and processing centre on the tiny island nation of Nauru. It is fully funded by the Australian government, and houses people detained under the Pacific Solution.

As at October 2004, there were 276 asylum seekers left on Nauru, out of 1,229 who have been processed on the island. 420 Afghan nationals had been sent back to Afghanistan from Nauru.
