Pac-Man World 2 is a video game released in 2002; it is one of PlayStation 2's "Greatest Hits" collection. Like the original Pac-Man World the player controls the character of Pac-man. The objective of the game is to retrieve the 5 "Golden Fruit" (cherries, strawberry, apple, pear and bananas) while collecting regular fruit and "pac-dots". The game takes place in "Pac-Land", and has about 25 levels, each one increasing in difficulty . There are 6 regions in Pac-Land: meadows, forest, snow, lava, ocean, and ghost island. Every third level is a " boss level", featuring a different ghost than the previous boss level. The ghosts are Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde. The next boss in the game is "Whale on a Sub", a giant submarine underwater; Pac-man fights from compact sub. The last boss is Spooky.
