. The intended beneficial uses of these water resources include
flood control
, aids to navigation,
irrigation
, supplemental
water supply

power generation
, municipal and industrial water supplies,
stream-pollution
abatement,
sediment
control,
preservation
and enhancement of
fish
and
wildlife
, and creation of recreation opportunities.
