Puerto Galera is a municipality of the province of Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines. This coastal town is quite famous among tourists for its numerous pocket beaches and many snorkeling ang diving spots.Among the famous beaches in Puerto Galera are White Beach and Sabang Beach. Both have extensive beaches and an active night life with their numerous beachside bars and restaurants. Puerto Galera is quite full during the Holy Week.
Puerto Galera is only three and a half hours away from Manila first by bus to the port at Batangas City and then by boat. It is the northwesternmost municipality in Oriental Mindoro.
