Qaeda of Jihad is the new name of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's terrorist group after pledging loyalty to Osama bin Laden, previously known as the Unification and Jihad . It is resposible for the majority of the civilian beheadings in Iraq in retaliation to the 2003 invasion of that country by United States led forces.
