1.6 Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für SegelflugThe Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug or DFS (German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight) was formed in 1933 to centralise all gliding activity in Germany. It was formed by the nationalisation of the Rhon-Rossitten Gesellschaft (RRG) at Darmsta (DFS)
- DFS 6The designation DFS 6 is one, not entirely understood, of a German glider made in the 1930s. DFS model 6 may have been a target glider made only as a prototype in 1936 or may also be the same as the DFS B6, made in 1938. When the DFS took over all glider, may be 'Model 6' or 'DFS B6'
