Rkatsiteli (Pronounced "ar-kat-si-TEL-lee") is a kind of wine grape used to produce white wines. Prior to the fall of the Soviet Union it was very popular in the Russian republic.

It was often grown in other republics and exported to the Russian republic without sufficient compensation to warrant its continued production when market forces were imposed. Widely grown in eastern Europe, this ancient vinifera reputedly originated in the Caucasus Mountains bordering Armenia and Turkey. It is also planted on small acreages in Australia and the eastern United States, mainly in the Finger Lakes region of New York state.
