Initially the Saab 95 was a seven seated estate automobile made by Saab. It was introduced in 1959 although only 40 were made in 1959 so production start is often said to have been in 1960. The first engine was a 841 cc three cylinder two-stroke, but from 1967 it was also available with the same four-stroke Ford V4 as used in the Saab 96. The rear facing folding seat was dropped with the 1976 model, making the car a regular 4 seater. Production ended in 1978.

For certain markets ( Norway, Denmark) a special export version Delivery VanA van is a vehicle used for transporting goods or groups of people. Should not be confused with the Saab 9-5The Saab 9-5 is an automobile made by Saab. It was introduced in 1997 as the new high-end automobile. It is in the same class as the Saab 9000. During 1998 both the 9000 and 9-5 were sold, but from 1999 the 9-5 replaced 9000 entirely. The base is Opel Vec.
