Sagittarius A* is a bright and very compact source of radio emission at the centre of the Milky Way Galaxy, of which our Sun is a constituent star. Although not completely certain, it is regarded by some astronomers to be a supermassive black hole, composed of matter equivalent to about a million suns (our sun's mass is approximately 2 x 1020 kg, making Sagittarius A* 2 x 1026 kg).
