Spellbound is the name of the 1991 pop album released by Paula Abdul. The album was an international success and spawned major radio hits with the singles "Rush, Rush", "Vibeology," "Promise of a New Day," "Will You Marry Me?" and "Blowing Kisses in the Wind." Music videos were cut for each of the singles, and all recieved heavy airplay on MTV. "Rush, Rush" featured a tribute to classic cinema that co-starred Keanu ReevesKeanu Charles Reeves (born September 2, 1964) is a Hollywood film actor. Although currently working in the United States, Reeves is a Canadian citizen and an avid ice hockey player/fan who was his High School team's MVP. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, his first. Controversy erupted when Abdul chose to have images pinched in the video for "Promise of a New Day"; it was rumoured this was because she had put on weight. She later appeared in a boustier at the MTV Music Awards to sing "Vibeology" and proved she had, in fact, gained weight.
