The more famous Uffington is that in Oxfordshire, close to one of Britain's best-known archaeological sites, the Uffington White Horse.
The other Uffington is a village in the English county of Shropshire. It lies between Haughmond Hill and the River Severn, some 3 miles east from the town centre of Shrewsbury.
