Ümlaut is Finnish hardcore punk band, or so they claim! Actually it's a secret all-star band of Catharsis/CrimetInc boys pretending to be a deadly terrorist hardcore band from Finland! They have released a record called Havoc Wreakers 12" vinyl on Finnish record label Combat Rock Industry.Music is fast hardcore punk with lot's of metal influences and blast beats. They have intelligent, yet provocative lyrics dealing with issues such as anti-capitalism, opposing homophobes', situation between Israel and Palestine, there's even one song, Hikken, in Dutch language. Other song topics are for example: Mass Graves for the Victims of Capitalist Machine, Intifada (Called Terrorists by Terrorists), Amor Fati.
