The valknut ( Germanic: "battle-knot", also called " Odin's knot", "heart of the slain", " Hrungnir's heart" or "heart of Vala") is a symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles.

It appears on Scandinavian image stones in connection with Odin, e. g. on the 7th century Tängelgarda stone from Gotland. Odin with Sleipnir, Valknuts are drawn beneath the horse (Tängelgarda stone)


It is also used in connection with the Asatru faith.
