Webb County is a county located in the U.S. State of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 193,117. Its county seat is Laredo 6. The county is named for James Webb , a state and federal judge.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 8,743 km˛ (3,376 mi˛). 8,694 km˛ (3,357 mi˛) of it is land and 48 km˛ (19 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.55% water.
