XFM is a commercial radio station in the United Kingdom. The station broadcasts on FM in London and digital radio nationally. The station generally plays rock music and other alternative music genres. The station was originally an illegal pirate radio station but became legitimate and was taken over by the Capital Radio group in 1998.
